Classes Overview

Weekly classes are the heart of the long-term success for each of our Soccer Genius Training students. It is in these classes where the players learn directly with Charles to master the full-range of skills, moves, rules, positions, strategies and so much more.

Classes are organized to meet the developmental requirements of each age group - including regular competition in the year-round Soccer Genius Cup.

All classes run from September to June, are mixed gender, and offer a variety of skill level exercises and growth challenges for the developing athlete. The emphasis is on maximizing learning, accelerating skills and quality of play, all within an open and supportive fair play focused environment. Choose from semi-private and regular class sizes.

Progressing Through The Soccer Genius Levels

Sudents progress through an exciting and challenging Training Level System, much like a martial arts belt system. There are 11 levels in total offering an aspiring athlete a true long-term path to complete soccer and personal success.

All new students begin in Level 0 regardless of age and progress at their own learning pace. New Soccer Genius athletes routinely increase their skills and knowledge up to 200% in the first 3-6 months alone.

Equal playing time and equal access to learning are hallmarks of the Soccer Genius way of development. This means that every player has the same opportunity to learn, acquire skills, and demonstrate their growing talents as every other player in the program.

The program has two main stages:

For 7-12 Year Olds (extended to 14 year olds for 2012)

The emphasis in this stage is to establish a love of the game and build a complete soccer literacy foundation for each student. Players in this stage can progress through the first 6 levels of the program. SoccerGenius Training can meet all of the developmental needs of athletes at this age or be an excellent compliment to existing team and/or league play.

Leadership and Performance Program

Once a student player has passed Level 3 and is 13 years or older they then have access to the Leadership and Performance Program components of SoccerGenius Training. These include summer camp counselling, class mentorship, Genius Juggling and Chinlone circle events, referee training, community service, and much more.
